Angelica Rando

Angelica Rando was born in Pozzallo, in the province of Ragusa.

Her mother, Adaeze, is from Lagos, Nigeria; her father, Luigi, was born in Pachino.

She grew up between Rosolini and Noto.

After her parents separated, she moved to Milan, where she studied the humanities.

Music soon became her personal way of expressing herself.

She writes and composes in a variety of genres.

These include pop, electronic music, dance and 1990s Italian indie.

Her background in the humanities is often reflected in her lyrics.

Alongside personal experiences, her lyrics explore social issues and current affairs.

They reflect her perspective on the world around her.
